Lake Monticello is hosting an EMT class starting on January 2, 2014. It will be held from 6:00 to 10:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and every other Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. The cost is $750, but scholarships are available for anyone who agrees to join either Lake Monticello Volunteer Rescue Squad or Fluvanna County Rescue Squad. Lake Monticello Volunteer Rescue Squad Opportunities
Lake Monticello Volunteer Rescue Squad is looking for volunteer EMTs and drivers. If you are a Virginia-certified EMT or hold a Virginia-issued EVOC certificate, please consider joining Lake Monticello. Since we are a rural county, with long transit times, you will have lots of opportunities for extended patient care, and you will gain valuable patient care experience.
